The chathome.lu Luxembourg Price Index for August 2026 reports a median apartment asking price of 7,487 €/m² and a median apartment asking rent of 25 €/m²·month, based on 11,914 active listings across 99 communes.

Coverage changed since the last issue
Between July 2026 and August 2026 the index widened from 20 to 99 communes, as 79 more communes reached a publishable sample. The headline figure therefore mixes price movement with that wider coverage: it changed by −11.1%, while on the 20 communes published in both issues the change was −3.7%. Compare issues on the like-for-like figure, not the headline.
