How this tool works
Mortgage Affordability and Borrowing Capacity in Luxembourg
How much can you borrow in Luxembourg?
Beta · This tool is still being refined. Treat results as guidance, not a binding financial assessment.
Key points in 30 seconds
Enter your confirmed net household income, monthly debts and the debt-to-income share you set. The calculator shows the largest property price that fits that share, with the acquisition costs it knows.
Assumptions, limits & sources
Debt-to-income share
The calculator takes the debt-to-income share you enter and your existing monthly debts. It uses them to find the largest monthly loan payment that fits, and shows the resulting debt-to-income ratio.
Loan amount and savings
The loan amount follows from the price and the savings you enter. Savings you keep as a reserve are excluded from the funds for the purchase.
Bëllegen Akt in the result
The calculator applies the Bëllegen Akt credit only when you confirm the balance and the number of eligible acquirers, up to 40000 EUR per acquirer. It never lowers the duties below 100 EUR.
